National Alumni Reunion

Once again, we are in the initial planning stages for a National Alumni Reunion in 2008 in St Louis. The location for this event will be hosted at the historic Mayfair Hotel located in downtown St Louis – 806 St. Charles Street.  Prices are $89 King Bed – single, $109 – Double Room with 2 King Beds or double room with 2 Queen Beds.  Please call the hotel and ask for the Redemptorist Alumni rate:  314-421-2500.  Their email address is www.wyndhammayfair.com.

We would like to invite your feedback in assisting us in the planning.  This event will honor Bishop Gutemberg Regis who will be celebrating his 30-year anniversary (7/23/78 – 7/23/08) as Bishop of Coari in Brazil. Bishop Regis has committed to attend and participate in the event.

So “save these dates” Thursday – Saturday, July 24-26, 2008. For those of you who attended the 2005 Alumni Reunion, the schedule will be similar.
 
The 2008 event will be organized and planned by Redemptorist Alumni in conjunction with the Redemptorists of the Denver Province. We would like to solicit ideas and assistance from Alumni in planning this event: 

If you know of any alumni (friends, family) for us to contact, please add their names and addresses on the form included. We request your participation in the planning process.  In particular, we are looking for individuals (preferably 2 from each class) who would be willing to be team co-captains to contact fellow alumni and encourage them to attend.  Please call me for information on how you can assist in the planning: 1-972-832-7710.

RSVP deadline is June 30th, 2008.

We intend this to be a reunion of, by and for the Alumni on behalf of the Redemptorists. Also, we want spouses to come and will be putting together ideas to involve the spouses and make them part of the Alumni Association. So, include suggestions for them as well. If you want to just email me some ideas please call me first so that I can program your email address into mine….juicemank@aol.com.
