Redemptorists have been involved in the staffing of parishes since our arrival in the United States nearly one hundred and seventy five years ago. We began by caring for parishes of poor immigrants. We have tried to continue in this spirit by seeking to be centers of spiritual care for the poor and marginalized, or to be sites for outreach programs such as parish missions.
